I will be installing one of the new Boss Noss systems on my 09 M8. I hadn't planned on it, but a friend gave me a heck of a deal. Now I have a few questions.
1. How many RPM can I expect a 60hp shot to raise my RPMs during a climb?
2. Based on the above answer, what RPM should I clutch the sled to without nitrous?
3. I see that Boss wants the nozzles installed in the rubber boots for the injectors. Is this the best setup or should I consider adding them to the airbox instead?
4. Is a 60hp shot too much for a sled that already has a pipe, porting and head work? Is it also too much for mountain riding? Would smaller (30-40hp) nozzles be better?
5. What kind of luck have you guys had with this system?
6. How high of octane fuel will I need to run in the aux. fuel bottle?
7. Should I reconsider installing the kit and sell it to you? :face-icon-small-dis
Thanks guys.
