13-14 Xm stock clutching for 10,000 ft

Has anyone had luck with tuning the stock clutching on these sleds? can you just take weight out and make it work or is a clutch kit a must have. We ride 10,000 ft. pm me if you have a setup for the stock clutching thanks

Had mine done by the dealer when I bought it but I believe it required a new spring and lighter pin weights

in good snow in cooke city (10000 feet) i had trouble getting 7900rpm out of mine. you SURELY have to remove the set screw that comes inside the pin from the factory......making it hollow. then i had to run on clicker 5 or 6 (and it was still iffy reaching 7900). i am fairly new to skidoo, but most clutching guys say it is ideal to run on clicker number 3 or 4.

Clutching

Last February we rode in Cooke, all I had to do was adjust my clickers up to 5 and I was running 8100 with no problems. My sled has the stock clutching.

Take out the set screws and it should be close.

Clutching

Last season we took all the weight out it helped but still needs more, still had to run clicker 4 and 5 got lighter pins gonna try that first, I will update this and let guys no how it works wanna be in clicker 2 or 3

I would leave the stock hollow pins and go up on the finish rate of the spring instead of going lighter pins. A 160/380 should do the trick.
