Went riding out in deep deep snow yesterday. The forward end of the boards, in front of the structured clearings, holds snow like no other. Complete ice patch humps. No clearing up there whatsoever. Going to have to do something. Not sure what. I like the width of the boards, but need more clearing.

Also, I plan to trim off the long angled piece of tunnel off the rear end. The do nothing part after the running boards end to the end of the tunnel. They just got bent up and they start holding snow, then it just piles up towards the front end.

What are you guys going to do for your boards?

Anybody have airframes on a 144" skid yet?

Any mods to the boards yet for anyone?

i do not believe anyone has anything yet. i do believe that some companies have said they are or will be working on something. the only thing that i could see working at this point would be to get out a hole saw and start drilling.

Works like a charm, just use an exacto knife and cut about 3 or so inches out of the plastic

I will be meathookers second customer!!!

I can only imagine our wider 144" boards with the clearing ability like that.

I can't wait to see what they look like.

For some reason I keep looking at a set of XLT under-the-running-board heat exchangers collecting dust in the garage and keep wondering how to end this misery once and for all. Place me the third in line please.

I guess that will make me fourth, but I am interested to hear how cutting back the side panels works-seems like it would certainly help. Give us an update when you get them out in the snow-maybe some day snow build up will be an issue out here in the east. As of now it certainly is not :( SLOOOOOWWWWWWWWW start to the season.

Any word on these becoming a reality? Finally had enough snow to get off trail and to be honest they really flat out suck, and that's with not really that much snow. Need to do something on this thing, for the snow evac and to learn how to ride. 10 thumbs and a very poor first performance.
