Looking for a good clutch setup and gear ratio for a 144 SRX, 8t drivers. ITs an 2000 700. Everything i seem to find is for lake racing and all that. Would a kit for a viper mountain work?

8dn-10s with 4.5 in each hole. staight 43 helix. Buddy of mine ran one that way for years. Geared about 2 to 1. Worked great. This was at 8000' +.

8dn 20's with 4.5 in each hole will be pretty close.

I'm running a 780srx with heelclickers and a team roller at 1200'. 2.06 final drive ration with the 8 tooth drivers. I like the way it works.

Lets see some pics of this 144" SRX! I have a 121" SRX, same year you have and have always been interested in stretching it to a 136" but 144" is even better. As for clutching... I also have a 03 Mtn Viper, I will have to check my notes to see what the set-up is, but i would think it should work.....???

On my SRX 780 151" I use heel clickers with the heel loaded and first hole loaded, 50ish/38ish helix, geared 2.1-1. This is at 2000'. I run only a little heel weight at 10,000'. At sealevel this set up should rip your arms completely off. Runs 8500-8600rpms all day long.:beer;:beer;:beer;
