02 700 Edge cylinder

Need a cylinder for my 02 Edge X 700, wondering what years will work since it doesnt have decompression. Will a 01 VES 700 cylinder work?

According to the Polaris parts list the 2002 was unique... any 2002 cylinder will work. But you could just have a local machine shop plug the decomp hole on a later cylinder.

I found an 01 with VES for a 700 hope its the same, I needed a good core to send in but if this one works I'm just gonna get it reniked....
