My friend and i are thinking inside the fender on the muffler. We run mx bikes, and there isn't really any good spot on the pipe. Not sure about a Berg...

Ya, I'd like to find a solution to granola on the mountains too. We usually invite a sledder along just to do the cooking, but it's hard to find one that cooks and is good in the trees.

If it didn't get so hot right at the head, it would probably be a decent spot. But you'd have to use a short fender. Actually that may be a good spot because it does get so hot... Get to where you're goin, and slide it on, let the bike idle for a few, and there you go. I dunno about your bike, but mine at idle will make the head pipe glow after a few. I think it's a combination of a little lean mixed with an advanced timing, and the head pipe is paper thin titanium. I'm glad there is a guard on that sucker!
