Best place to power AEM AFR fuel guage

My sleds a 15 swb assault 800 without elec start Ive put in an rktek rev2 kit and want to install the afr guage just wondering where i should power it from ive read the wires by the headlight are only good for 2 amps and the guage pulls 3 amps I think my heated visor plug is plugged into the dc wire by the clutch

FYI.... the gauge only draws 1.5 peak amps while its warming up the sensor.

Good to know i read somewhere it has a 3 amp fuse so i assumed i needed more power

I hooked mine to the wires under the hood behind the headlight and works like a charm.
