Finally got out and tried my new jaws pipe. Overall i was very happy with the performance that the pipe produced. However, i feel that the stock computer and a heat shocked motor (128 degrees), really start to add fuel and pull timing. If there was a few minutes where we stopped and the temperatures dropped, it really made excellent power at the 110 degree temp. Im going to remove the thermostat and see how it runs next trip with temps running around that 110 area. Here's a quick edit of one of the days in Blue River.

It was always when the motor temp was above the 120 degree mark. Its hard to say if it was because of pipe temp or not. The only reading i have is a colder motor. Thats why Im going to try and remove the thermostat and see what happens. I know from a few sources that the ECU adds fuel and timing over 125 degrees.

These sleds normally run at 127-130 unless on a hard packed trail and they run much hotter even with scratchers.

Im running stock clutching and ride at 6600-7200 feet. I need to gear down more. 1.95 is way to high for a mountain sled. Im going to gear down to 2.39 and see how that feels. The 850 has more top end, even with the pipe on my axys. The bottom end and mid range feels very close. i think the biggest differnce is traction. The 850 with the 165 3" really hooks up. I have a 163 2.6" track and it was very noticeable how much more traction the 850 got. Track speed was close. My axys was 41-42 mph on a good climb. The 850 was 43-44 mph on the same hill.

127 was as low as I've seen ... Saw 148 on a packed road and never have deployed scratchers ..17' 155 Assault

Had a Comp Track on for trail riding and got a last minute trip to Afton so had to run the Slick and threw some 60s in it and jumped in the truck :face-icon-small-con:face-icon-small-win:juggle:

Definitely a trencher but hey I got 7 of my 18 hours done

Iv got a 16 155 2.6, 6 to 7000 feet, above 0 c, with jaws pipe and mbrp can, my clutching is all stock, and get 44 mph on honest deep sno pulls , yesterday mid day i swaped out the stock 64s for slp mtx 71 grms and saw 45 mph at 8400.
Iv just done motor mounts and new primary spring
