i wanted red ones last year to and i ended up painting them with kraylon fusion plastic paint a couple coats wet sanding in between and then letting them sit for the 7 days in a warm room like they say and they turned out awesome
How does that krylon plastic fusion paint hold up in the tree's?
i put the orange hood off the 2010's on my 08 xp last year. When it arrived it came more bronze then orange and i was thinking about painting it a brighter color. It looks like the factory painted the orange on anyway.
leave for 10 days then apply several coats of lacquer clear, if you don't wait long enough the lacquer is real hot and will "melt" and crack and bubble the plastic paint. Take your time and wet sand with 320 grit and will look like factory finish.
