Have a 96 mxz583 and 99mxz670 and the 583 seems it takes longer to warm up is this normal! both rotary induction and s chasis sleds any input would be appreciated!
If the thermostat is wide open the engine will circulate all of the water instead of just a closed loop porton of it. The engine will still warm up but take longer and cool off more when you are in deep snow. Optimal engine temps are around 115 - 120. The thermostat should open about 115.
