Hey ladies! I am all booked and ready for this upcoming event. It would be awesome if we had a great ladies turn out for the ride!

Here is a copy of the information that Christopher has posted in the Premium members Long Track Lounge. It has now been announced to the public! (Or at least I already saw it on Instagram)

To celebrate the magazine's 40th Anniversary they will be hosting a huge event in West Yellowstone MT on Friday January 30th and Saturday January 31st.

Right now the plans are to have the Union Pacific Depot staged as a welcoming location with a lot of nostalgia exhibits for the two days.

They will have a bunch of prizes we will give away (including a brand new Polaris sled) that will be given away to someone in attendance at the party!
(You have to come to win!)

In conjunction with this celebration the SnoWest Forums will have their 6th annual Forum Ride.

Forum Members that would like to participate in the celebration and the forum ride are encouraged to book rooms NOW while everything is still open. We will make the Holiday Inn our "Ground Zero" hotel, but you are welcome to book into any facility in the town.

2 specific forum events we are working on..

1. A Snowmobile Geo-Cache challenge.
Sometime this fall some of us will be going up into the mountains around West Yellowstone and pre-positioning several "Prize Cans".
The caches will be securely placed in trees BEFORE the snow falls.!
Some of the caches will be "easy" to find and retrieve.
Others will be harder, and a few might be downright insane.

But each will contain a prize worthy of the effort it takes to retrieve.
A sheet of GPS coordinates will be provided to anyone who wants to participate, and whoever brings the cache back claims the prize!

2. Avalanche Beacon Recovery.
Early in the morning a team of intrepid SnoWesters will take off to "hide" a series of Avalanche beacons in the mountains around West Yellowstone. The general area of the "Burial" will be listed for the hunters, and prizes will be based on the degree of difficulty in retrieving the beacons. Some easy, some hard and one or two just might be "very difficult".

Other activities are also being planed and will be announced as we get closer.
