ARIZONA - ATTENTION OFF ROADERS IN THE QUARTZSITE AREA - YOUR HELP NEEDED

BRC just received an email from Shirley Leeson, Vice President of the American Lands Access Association (ALAA), with an urgent request in regards to their upcoming January meeting in Quartzsite, Arizona.
We've pasted Shirley's email below. Please take a minute to read the alert, take action and then pass it along to friends, family and riding buddies.

Hi Guys, Since ALAA is a group member of Blue Ribbon, could you post this for us, asking all Blue Ribbon people In the vicinity of Quartzsite to attend.

Location: Quartzsite Alliance Church, 720 Desert View, northwest side of I-10
Time: 6:30pm Arizona Time, for those of you in California, it's 5:30pm California Time

Jennifer House, Natural Resources Specialist, Colorado River District, Lake Havasu, AZ will speak on the LA POSA Management Plan, affecting the BLM areas around Quartzsite.
We need a LARGE GROUP, these people don't take us seriously.
We are all OFF ROADERS, You folks and rockhounds, we all use the roads, the only difference is rockhounds stop along the way and pick up rocks.

[FONT=&quot]The American Lands Access Association meeting was such a success that the second annual meeting has been scheduled for Quartzsite, Arizona for 2012. An open meeting of the American Lands Access Association will be held on Friday evening, at 6:30 PM, January 20, 2012 at the Quartzsite Alliance Church on 720 Desert View on the north side of Quartzsite.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]From Main St take Hwy 95 north to Tyson Rd. and turn left (west), go about .75 miles, or take Moon Mountain Rd north to Tyson Rd. and turn left and go to next street, Desert View, and turn right. Park in the big parking lot in front of church.. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]This meeting should be of interest to all rockhounds and to anyone who recreates on and uses public lands. The purpose of this meeting is for outreach to rockhounds and the public at Quartzsite; to let them know about ALAA and what we do. It is to let rockhounds and the public know the legislative and regulatory challenges and issues facing all of us and how they can and should be involved.[/FONT]
