Hey guys. I bolted on an SLP pipe and intake kit on my 02 800 Edge xc last year. Really enjoyed the upgrade, but was wondering if I had the correct clutching set-up. The sled itself is stock except the SLP single and intake kit. The clutching for the Primary is 68g Daltons and a blue yellow SLP spring. The Secondary is a silver blue polaris spring and a 52/34 SLP progressive helix. I am running an Ultimax 809 belt w/ the correct shive clearance. What are everyones thoughts?
The gearing is stock. I know I have talked to many who have said the stock gearing is the best, but I am thinking about dropping a tooth on the top gear. Would this effect the clutching set-up?
