Thanks for all the effort MH. Got any family or do you have a heart tattoo with PURE POLARIS written across it !! :face-icon-small-hap

Wow my 4 kids ae upset just spending the time reading these posts and not playing with them.

Anyway I feel the 2011 is a home run and the 2012 is grand slam material.

What is going on with the 600?

I think FUJI has something to do with the Chevrolet DURAMAX diesel which has had a very good reputation.

You are thinking of Isuzu. Isuzu and GM had a joint venture on the Duramax.

As for the change on the spark plugs, I'm told it was designed to help offset detonation due to crappy fuel.

Some more info on the sparkplug...

The GR9A-EG spark plugs will not be popping up on the aftermarket side for a while... The dealers will have them available after mid September.

Part number 3022332 $3.49 each Retail Price... which is reasonable in my book.

Should guys with 11's run these plugs or is it a 12 and up thing?

Gotta believe they will work fine in the 2011, maybe even better than the 12's, since they are designed to reduce fouling. The BPR's are backwards compatible with the 2012's per the earlier thread.

Related question - better than the EIX plug? Another one - is there a fuel type preference with this new plug, as in, better/or worse, with the ethanol resistor in (the resistor just adds 5% more fuel to the map). Dunno. Ready. Set. Speculate.

Is there an exploded diagram showing part numbers for the new reinforcement plates on the tunnel? Would like to get them for my '11! Anyone have pics on their new '12's?

Thanks!

The plates, I'm told, are the same... they are now painted with more self-piercing rivets there.

They are not avail separately from the chassis assy.

There are some upgraded plates from a forum membe and from Timbersled...Use the Lord 406/19GB with a few rivets and you will have a much stronger tunnel on your 2011.

Oh good I was lookin for this thread the other day...

Another change on the 2012 RMKs from the 2011s is that the 2012 premium/ethanol fuel resistor is now (1) two sided plug rather than (2) seperate plugs as it was for 2011...
