Just thinking lower engagement allows better control at lower RPM.

Just thinking lower engagement allows better control at lower RPM.
If you go too low on engagement and the engine isn't developing enough power it will be sluggish and possibly bog. Especially under more of a load like taking off in deep, heavy snow.
