08- Seems like the 08s had a few problems, but were resolved? Like the drive shaft, and I believe there was bad clutching? Could that be worked out. And they are the lightest of them all, correct?
09- I had a 09 xp 154 and loved it, didn't add much weight the first year, and all first year issues have been worked out. Put 800+ miles on original belt. (I like that). Potentially the best year?
10-12- Never really kept up with all the refinements, but I do know there was a significant(IMO) weight gain that year,
I want the best combo of light weight and reliability, especially in the clutching department, along with a decent price. Obviously, the newer it is, the more money, but there are some cheap ones out there now.
I pretty much ruled out the 08s cause of issues, but if updates are done are they as good as the 09s and beyond? Leaning towards finding a 09.
What do ya all think?
