800R Looking for a thicker base gasket 056-.059

Not sure what that equates to in mm. Current cylinder was deck by the builder and they suggested to stack 2 base gaskets. Never liked that idea and it doesn't work. I have had it torn done twice to stop the leaks but no go.

I checked with Crankshop and they have them for everything except the 800R. Any other thoughts? Thanks

Because the engine builder over decked the cylinders by .030 with no adjustment to the heads. With a .028 base gasket the squish was .026-.031. They then said just to double up the gaskets to make up for it. Bad idea that has become costly and they won't help out.

That is my plan B. I found 2 sources for gasket material here locally but would prefer to buy one already cut out.

Cometec gaskets makes custom base gaskets, they have a number thickness available. Just call them, reasonably priced. Have had them make custom
gaskets a number of time when big bore with cat piston in rotax etc.

Yes use Cometic. Even if they don't have one on hand they can make one on the cheap in no time flat. I've used them for years for custom stuff.

That sh!tty Jaws was the other guy's I got them from .

BG,s I sent are actually .0585 and should compress .003ish
