A friend of mine that is new to sledding bought a SKS last winter. He is looking to do some cheaper mods to wake this thing up a little. I am a cat guy and dont know much about these sleds. I ride a M chassis and rode this sled a few times on the hill last year. Ran ok but felt a little heavy and thought there was more power to be had. I'm thinking a little weight loss(pipe and or can setup) What do you guys think. Any help? Thanks in advance

clutching, gearing down, aftermarket heads, porting, SLP single pipe longer track than a 144 would greatly help this sled out.

Check the Carb specs from the SKS to a RMK, i have an 03 800 SKS and i had to go through mine to get the bog out of it. Even a SLP air box kit and extra vents for more air helped. Hope this helps.
