Have not heard much information about putting timing keys in the new sleds. Just wondering if anybody is running a timing key in an M1000 and what the results were. Even just a +2 timing key not too crazy they are only cheap just wondering if anybody has any experience with it how well it works with other mods like pipe, air box, head or even on a stock sled.
Any info is great. Thanks

My personal experience has shown me that a timing key has been OK on a stock sled but the M1000's with mods really have a tendency to have numerous light seizures especially when under a long hard pull. Good gas and enrichened boondocker settings have not helped much with sticking a piston or 6. Even above 10,000 ft. with .065 squish clearance. Removed the timing key and with no other changes and have had no other problems. Never a problem with a stocker but didn't really find a benefit either, Good luck.:beer;
