I got a bit side tracked at work Friday morning  go figure! I have been meaning to do something to get some snow off the running boards that just build up when riding the fresh pow. Stay tuned for another custom long track coming next week. This is my junk for now.
This is the best pic of the stock running boards

Started by using a 2" dimple die to add some strength

Next cut out the running boards

Then added some traction! This should be enough to tear a knee open. HAHA!

I have been looking at doing this to my IQR. Where did you get your grip tread from?

Made it here at our shop. There just small pieces welded in from the bottom. If you can Tig weld alum or know someone that can I can get some pieces to diy.

Thanks, We have a Hi-Def Plasma table here at our shop so I will just make some myself. Thanks for the offer though. Did you just use the Cut-off wheel on the Dremel or what?

Hutch25 I used a 4.5" angle grinder with a cutoff wheel to do the major cuts & a Dremel with a cutoff wheel to do the small cuts. Worked good.

What we have for a system is a Retro Systems Super Hornet that uses Phoenix Motion Control Software W/Hypertherm HPR260 power source. We many do Tank & Vessel construction for the Ethanol Industry. Multicam makes a good product.
