Skid plate removal

I cant get the skidplate off, i need it off to be able to take off the lower A-Arms so they can be powder coated. But when trying to drill out the rivits of the skidplate they just spin and I cant get them out for the life of me. The only way to get to the bolts for the lower A-Arms is to take off the skidplate too. Any Suggestions???

Roll the back of the drill around in a circular motion while drilling. Rivet might still spin but it should chew through it. They can be a pain.

I finally took a dremel and a little grinding stone to get mine loose. You need to be very careful because it gets hot and will melt through your skid plate.:face-icon-small-ton
