Need to see if anyone makes a mount for a 02' RMK 800VES to mount in a 02 Mountain cat 800 chassis

No trying to be a dick , but is there not WAY more potential in the cat 800 over the Poo. so WHY ?

I know there are LOTS of opinions based on lots of different experiences...but...
In my experience with each of those motors (i've owned and ridden with both)...the Cat 800 from the 1m chassis was very solid and didn't havee a lot of reliability problems but there wasn't as much to gain from the aftermarket work as there was from the Pol 800s. The Pol 800s seem to take to porting, pipes and head work more than the 1m 800s. They just seem to like it more.

You are right, I just want something different and also want the RER mainly the RER. My other sled is a 01' 800 so I already have that set up.

Check with 1200psi here on the forums...he makes all kinds of goodies!
Anyone know how close the timing curves are between the Poo 800 and the Cat 8/900? Toying with trying to put the Poo ignition on the Cat motor so you could have the reverse.

I've had some good conversations with turbo tater. Apparently back in the day he was able to take the A/C 900 motor and but a 990 big bore in it and then port the $hit out of it and make one hell of a rippper. Just a thought
