Having a tough time getting the clutching good on my 15 M8000 HCR. Sled has jaws pipe, diamond s can, boyesen reeds and pcv with 2.5 timing key. Makes 180hp. I haven't been able to get the engagement rpms down. Was running what was recommended to me a black/gold speedwerxs spring (175/305) initially and the engagement was way too high. Sled just trenched like crazy trying to start out in the woods. Then switched to a white epi spring cause it was available that day (125/280) and that really didn't change my engagement much at all. Clutch also has the thunder product glide washers in it with just the glides. No extra shims. I'm trying to get my engagement closer to 3000. Also in the secondary I have a speedwerx 36/42 or 44 I'm not positive but I get a deadspot around 6500-7000 when I'm on and off the throttle on the trees and it doesn't back shift nicely. Any recommendations are appreciated. The sled has so much potential but the clutching is killing me.
