Just finally got out on the 18 and have 3.1 hrs on it but alarms been flashing u1000! Is this affecting the performance? Can I clear this without dealer? My brothers is doing the same! Also this sled compared to my narrowed up 14 is a huge improvement!!!!!

According to the manual:

U1000 Vehicle not registered or invalid PIN entered

Dealer didn't register the sled with arctic cat, better call your dealer.

The new cat is a serious contendor now.

But like mentioned above, PIN was entered at dealer. Someone forgot to finish the setup on it.

If the pin wasn't entered wouldn't it have been throwing the code since new?

yakima, wa.
instructions are in the dealer prep manual.
I had to enter my own pin also.
But my alarm was there when i picked up from the dealer. The dealer thought it was related to low temp when i asked. I had to read the manual to find out what was going on.
Real simple process.

That's what I'm asking. Shouldn't the code be on right away if the dealer didn't put the pin in?
