Broken Can Temp Sensor, Can I still ride?

Trying to get a first seasons road ride in, however my Can Temp Sensor ripped out when my can fell to the ground. Any band aid for this? Or is it a big deal to do a road ride without it? Any input would be MUCH appreciated.

If I remember right the check engine will come on and run like crap. It will run but not really worth it if you ask me.

You will definitely get a check engine light. I lost mine on my 14 sled and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. I think you would be fine for a road ride. It's just annoying have it beep at you. Mine would reset everytime I shut it off but about 5 minutes into riding it would come back on.
