Two questions:


1. Why is the 300's centre of gravity so much further forward than the 500?
2. Who makes your benches and cabinets?

I don’t understand why the ktm 300 is 25lbs more than the Yamaha 300 even when the Yamaha has A 3 gallon tank. Do you know the reason why it’s weighing in so much more? Even more than a 500. The Yamaha yz250 is 5lbs heavier than a six days 300 in wheel form

Did I miss a KTM 300 weight ?? All I could see was the 350 four stroke.

How much weight and/or HP difference between '18 and '19 ktm 500/husky 501 bikes? I ask cuz I have an '18....thanks.

Seems like a 2T pipe down there on the 300 six days = 290 lbs.


So why is it so front heavy?

Hold on, a little cheating going on there...the 500 is empty and the 300 is full of gas? That's 15-20 lbs right there!

IMO there's no fuel in the 500. That's why it is not balanced forward like the 300.

no way a yz250 is 25lbs lighter than a ktm 300. Somebodys scales are off. Id take either one though above the others! Sweet smokin

I think the 300 has a bigger tank than the 500, but still seems hard to believe that the weight is so close.

That 500 fully gassed should weigh about thr same as my beta500.

Just for the record, I did not weigh this 500 in my shop. This was weighed by a customer using my scale in his shop. I did question him again today as to the fact that it was full of fuel and he did verify that it was full of fuel.

I can not answer these questions. This 500 was not one of my shop builds, but one done by a customer in his garage. We supplied him with all parts and accessories, but did not do the work. Every Yeti I have ever weighed full of fuel hangs ski down. I question that it was not full of fuel, but I did verify today that it was.

I'm surprised its that heavy with the Yeti kit even being a 137. My YZ/Camso came in at 338 full of fuel.
