Helix machined for overdrive.

Installed the clutches and battery and started the sled.
Clutch engagement is silky smooth compared to last season.

Sled back in my garage.

Rear shocks.

Removed shocks and greased the skid.

Fox float will replace the Assault shocks.

The Assault shocks where to stiff so Fox float will give me more adjustabilty.

Difference in weight, 1.5 kilos lighter.

Primary clutch removed again since it will be balanced.

Clutch back from balancing.

Before and after Overdrive machining.

I also grinded the roller pins shorter to eliminate the play side to side when installed.

Thanks !

I started this build late 2012 and had been without sled for 14 years before that, so the idea of having a sled again was a great motivator.
It started out really low budget with cheap bent and broken parts but in the end when everything worked so good i started spending more on new and better parts (still less money than a new sled).

Awesome job!

Very well rounded fab. skills & clearly lots of patience too!

What's wrong with tapatalk?

Free99

I did not know about tapatalk back in 2012 when i started my build.
And to reupload all my Pictures all over again wont do any good since i cant edit old posts and it would be a ****load of work to relink all pics.
