New to us, 2014 Pro Rmk’s (600 & 800)

Moving up from OLD iron ( wife was on 89 Phazer & I was on 97 Summit ( mildly modded, “Thing can, clutch kit, stretched to a 151 with drop & roll and skid relocate). Looking for cheap mods (clutching mainly), and anything to watch for or do? Heavy spring in rear suspension as I’m over 250 lbs will be riding in the Black Hills ( 6,00 - 8,000) and Big Horns (8,000 to 11,000 ish).

i know you have ski clamps but i wouldn't use the bumper to tighten the sled down on the trailer, those things are flimsy at best.

Where online can a guy get a part schematic, I am looking for the heavier suspension spring ( over 250#), found the number ( P/N SPRING, 7043740-067) but does it go on the front or rear shock?

Do yourself a favor and call Carl's Cycle, in Boise, ID. Tell them what you have, where you ride and they will set you up with the perfect clutching and custom suspension springs. I have no affiliation with them, other than being a very happy customer. They are the experts, when it comes to RMKs.

If I were you I would ride them and see how they run and handle before you start throwing money at them. Those machines are light years ahead of what you were riding and may suit your needs just fine. I agree with tuneman though, if you are low on rpm for your altitude call carls cycle and they will set you up with clutching for your elevation. They have a decent clutch setup for the Polaris's.
