Thats really not a bad idea at all!
Just need to find a REALLY short bolt that won't protrude into the underside of the tunnel.

Never posted any comments about the finished seat.

VERY happy with it.

While it is narrower, taller and denser foam than the OEM seat, I have not had any problems with riding on it for hours and hours.

The transition from sitting to standing is easier and faster, and the seat encourages you to be in the forward position rather than to the rear.

So far I am loving it, and I really like the extra storage space it allowed me as well !!

Oh ya.
The change in off trail "ridability" is HUGE with the new seat on it.
REALLY didn't like riding the OWM seats on the two test sleds last weekend.

At some point I suppose I could put the whole sled back on the scale and get a solid weight to compare against the new sled weight I posted when I first bought them?

This should be fun.
My son has decided its his turn to start modding his Nytro this year.

First item will be a new Skinz Seat!
