2011 M8 bad injector?

short version- Pulling a hill, running great, backed out of throttle, pinned it, ran like it was burned down. Pulled plugs, mag good, pto side snow white. Drug to truck, started to get in trailer and ran great. Got home, runs great. Pulled exhaust and piston on pto side slight wash on exhaust edge. Sled runs fine, going to put new pistons in it.

Bad injector?

Unlikely an injector issue, they don't really ever fail mid ride like that. If they are ever stuck- once opened they usually continue to work great. But it is possible that injector may not have been reading a proper signal momentarily- which I would think a possible wire harness issue. I would also check the reeds out on that machine, they are common for cracking or even breaking and can run very odd with blown reeds. Was this the first ride of the season? Or had you put some riding in on that machine already?
