POLARIS has kept quiet on their horsepower claims (and understandably so) in their 2012 Brochures.
However, on page 14, POLARIS advertises that "Through wind tunnel and field testing has shown that the Mid height windshield increases top speed over 5 m.p.h. and the full height windshield increases top speed over 3 m.p.h. over the low windshield"
So, there you have it, the secret's out, they're making up for the lost h.p. in aerodynamic design........................................................................
