What Happened to the Push for Push Turbo's

T
How are these running???? was told By MMsports he would have shipping date two weeks ago. anyway I start out at 2500 feet and climb from there. With av gas and 6 psi is that safe or am I just asking for problems???? Can you dial these 3000 dollar kits down on boost or are they working good. Thanks...G

I have been running one for a 300 miles. I can run 7lbs. on straight 100ll at 2000ft. Sled runs great and has more pull than a 2010 with a tial kit running the same boost and clutching. I also ran the sled for a few days in West Yellowstone worked great. Turned the boost up to about 10lbs. I have a little different fuel system than the kit comes with to get to that boost. The kit is well worth the $2995.

So the $2995.00 kit will not run 7 psi without fuel upgrades? How is the low-end on the sled? What are you running for clutching? I am looking at this same kit to run from 0-3000Ft. on 100LL.

Thanks

Jason

Im not sure if you could get 7lbs at that elevation without a walbro pump, never ran the kit with the stock pump. The bottom end is same as stock with no lag. Clutching im running a 36-42P, Dakota Performance turbo weights and a speedwerx H5 green spring. You also have to purchase a CCU along with the kit as its not included. I know you can't run this kit at 7lbs at anyless than 1500ft on 100ll or you hit the det sensor, A/F is ok but not enough octane. (on my sled anyway)

Is yours a 2010? Did you do any head mods?

So I would be looking at 5 psi with 100ll maybe?

How loud is it with no muffler with the tunnel dump?

I am surprised to see you are still running the stock heat shield on the pipe Kevin.

Thanks, so that is where the magical dust is coming from. I have never seen in on my n/a sleds.
I HEAT WRAP MY PIPE. THE STOCK ONE LEAVES A WHITE DUST ALL OVER YOUR SLED( opps sorry for shouting) and the wraped one holds the heat in better.

Outstanding questions

The Turbo section has a bit of ADD...and that's not surprising!

With the Push G PG Turbo how does a tunnel dump affect the sound?

011 4000-7000 ft is it necessary to modify the head when running pump gas?

thanks!

mmmm

Love the tial but I am so blown away at this turbo not sure yet.
I will tell you after some more time I will eventually add 2 more injecters and turn it to 14 lb then I will tell you but for now at 8.5 I believe this one is more efficient so far and spools supper quick. I can tell you I have never been impressed with 8 lb of boost until now.
I think that from 12 up the tial will work better.

Which wastegate do you like the best, external or internal?

pump gas

Ok I will say it again you can not take a 91 octane engine throw boost at it and expect to run 91 so yes if you change the compression then you can but in my opinion why .

Kevin,

How low of psi can you run with this kit? 4-9 psi? I want to run one on my 2010 M8 at 0-4000ft with 100 octane. Or will I have to use the 07-09 head? Can you post some pictures of your gauge set up as well (boost, a/f, etc.).
