I bought the 650. My buddy wanted to save some money and got the 610. You give up a LOT with the 610. No lithium battery, way less transmit power and non adjustable power and a couple other things I forgot. Was a real hassle to get him out of that 610 and into a 650. Won't be doing him any favors for a while, lol. The 655 has a camera. Had no interest in the camera in the GPS. I have 300 ways to take a picture, didn't need another. Also, something to eat up memory, battery and just added complication. But that is me...

I have a couple Rinos from one generation previous where they still had the buttons.

LOVE THESE RADIOS.
Will likely buy one of the new ones as I could use 3 now.

I havent used the newest generation, but love our 530HCX models. I don't plan to upgrade to the new ones as they have a touch screen. I can use my 530HCX with my gloves on as it has buttons. My 2 cents.

FYI Cabellas has a sale going on till the 28th for the 655t for $440 or $449 then take $20 off if you have a cabellas card and that comes with preloaded topo maps which the 650 does not have. Im thinking about getting it, its the best deal ive seen.

I have no need for the camera whatsover either but for the same price as a 650 and comes with topo maps already it seems right to me....that price was from a ad they sent it doesnt show up online FYI

I just bought 3 655's for my brothers and I from cabelas in Rapid City SD, 429 each. Sale ended Sunday at that store. By far the best price I've found. X3 on the camera function, but for less money than the 650 it was a no brainer. What's the most base model(cheapest) you can get with the two way radio function?

I really like the 655t model - it's expensive, but the memory is upgradable and having the camera is a nice feature for when your buddies do something dumb.
