1.5g off is the most Ive seen yet. I ground all mine down to 66g. Was looking to change the setup cause I wasnt hitting rpm when hot in pow at 11k+ ft. Glad I checked this first. Usually check when new but didnt this year. My scale is accurate, I have 3 different ones and all check out equal.

On the bright side the motor was strong enough to pull that when it wasn’t heat soaked.

Really poor qc

Ran way better today. 2ft fresh and I ran it hot above 11k. 8000rpm was minimum today loading it up hard. Mostly at 8150-8200. Gained 150 rpm and more consistent getting all weights to 66g and even.

Stock clutching otherwise?

I recommend the Thunder Products glide washers. I’m certain that is what CO2.0 uses. The derlin washers just don’t seem to hold up in the primary - from my experience.

Yeah I would never use Derlin's in the primary. I use Thunder products. Each one is supposed to raise engagement by 50rpm. I'm still engaging around 3300-3400rpm

Mine were all 1/2 gram off, ground 68's to 67 1 Thunder products washer in primary, 9,500 ft 2ft of powder pulls 8050 to 8100, pulling stock 48 helix with authority, 3 to 4 minute wot pull panel can still touch clutches, sec runs about 20 degrees warmer. Amazing sled!

Start just below roller surface and taper towards the bottom all along the sides, leave roller area alone, thining that area out will put additional stress on rollers

my 68s were dead even on two of them and one was .1 gram heavier.
if youre doing this after 1000+ miles like me, clean everything really well, and after matching the weights alone, then match them with the pins and shims. The shims are wear items and will have different wear marks. i swapped the order of the shims around until I got all three setups within .1 gram of eachother. then installed with shims reversed so new faces for weights to wear on.
i put a glide washer on the cover side.

a note on the glide washers. i have the lightning products ones. i only used one on the cover side and did not notice any increase in engagement. in fact I think it actually lowered it. maybe from reduced bind. next time i take the cover off i'll throw the other one in there. maybe some ti cover bolts too:face-icon-small-win
machine felt a bit smoother running from this weight matching, could be a placebo i guess. still has that box of rocks noise at slow speeds that these clutches are know for after some miles. not sure what that is.
