Last I heard they are not making a set for the 16s. 16 prolites do not come with them.

You might be right there. Need Alt to step up and make some now! A set of Ti skid arms might be worth 8lbs. I know his front Ti a-arms will get you another 5lb.

You are correct, no BDX arms for the 2016 PC. That was a bit disappointing, thought I'd get a few lbs loss there for not a lot of money. Talked to Dan at AI and no rear arms in the works for the cat as of now. Pretty sure I can still hit 420, but 400 is going to be a stretch and very costly.
Got a couple more ideas from looking at the 2016 Pro rear skid that could buy me another lb or so.

My Kmod skid went from 46lb to 40lb with TI arms and hardware kit. Did not do the springs. But I think they are good for another 1lb. BDX skid was 36lb weighed it before I sold it. But ii did have some things that needed replaced. Just to thin in my opinion. Both skids were the 162. A lot of the weight on the kmod comes from the rails. There is way more material there than stock.

You can get the kmod down to 36lb with the right shocks.

Does anyone know if the bdx tank losses weight on the 16. It claims 6lbs for 400.00 but I think that is for the old tank

I think someone's going to have to call Trail Tank directly to get the full story on weight savings on the newer sleds. I think they might require one of the older style seats too.

Yeah I know, but I prefer the Raptors, weight gain from shocks and bullet proof rails is worth it to me.

Cutting weight

How much can you save ditching the ice scratchers? You could do hi-fax with Teflon inserts. Ti jack shaft and to pipe would be big weight loss. Stock tail light could go and be replaced by a nice LED. It's looking good!!

Old style proclimb tank weight 16lbs. I hVe not weighed the new style (battery less) tank, it's supposed to be 5ish lbs lighter

2012 style proclimb tank, completely bare

BDX tank 10lbs, but holds 2 gal more fuel

I don't understand why you would be willing to sacrifice the strength of the rear suspension, go as far as cutting the extra bolt length off of the carbides, but you won't do oil delete. There is a ton of weight to save, plus you get a more accurate oil ratio, no rich spot on the bottom end, and you save the potential for an oil pump failure. I guess it seems like a no brainer to me, it is one of the first things I have done to my modified sleds? What is your reasoning, not bashing just curious?

As far as the oil delete goes, it's a matter of convenience. I hate mixing oil and gas. If I do a stage III and really try to hit 400 lbs, I may have to do it.

The Patrick CF tunnel extension only saves 3lbs according to thier website. For $850 it's a stage III item for sure.

Ti parts are also a stage III option trying to break the 400lb mark. I talked with Dan at Alt. Impact and they aren't making front or rear Ti arms yet.

Is the upper a arm going to hit side panel? Nice build by the way. This is actually lighter than Axys 3" now isn't it when comparing create weights?

He doesn't have the panel locked all the way in place.. Cats take a little more work to snap in than the old xp ya know...
