The turbo smart 38mm is ok for 10 lbs max. You could add the fuel rail and injector bosses to an ovs air box. Just make sure it fits in between the bulkhead cross over and the throtted bodies. The airbox is snug now with no extra bosses. Make sure the fuel pressure regulator is after the rails. I know it's a bit of work but the extra timing down low is Huge.

I run the ovs air box and have cutler big bore dual injector throttle bodies. I run 1 set of m1000 injectors and another set for the secondarys. We run the boost-it box and it works great.. If I were to do it again I think the ovs needs a bigger bov at 12-16 lbs on a 1000 with a 76 turbo. I still have a .82 tial on there and it is pretty unbelievable how strong it is. I have a huge box of charge tube 2 1/2" and 3" tubes, sweaps, 135's, fittings and couplers and clamps. So if you need a part see if I got, cheap... twisted has a good airbox, but the 50 mm bov is in the charge tube. I like my ovs as it has a mount that keeps the throttle bodies held to the block and helps keep from tearing boots.

Holy crap. Your running 12-16 lbs on a 1000. That has got to be stupid fast to the point of unridable.

Add a bikeman 3 degree timing key advancing under the flywheel and use a 3 degree boondockers ekey to pull it on top. Really wakes up the throttle response off idle.

12lbs is PRETTY FAST, never had it up to 16 lbs. Linderman has ported and cut the cylinders and D D has worked magic on the ecu and removed the rev limiter so it zings...

How does this affect timing in the midrange? I have been told the timing is already too advanced in the midrange and that is why they tend to run so hot in the midrange. I don't have EGTs on my TM1000, but my TM8 would get really hot temps in midrange if I didn't constantly pump the throttle.

I'd love to hook up with some good running m1T and do some chutes, Makes me miss my M1000T.

There is 3 of us in Mccall this weekend.

Would have looked you up but the lack of snow in McCall sucks so we been ridding a couple of our secret backcountry spots that have deep powder yet, and ya what a blast pulled 1 chute that was somewhat easy and 1 that was all me and the sled could do, didn't think I was going to make it but the turbo 1000 pulled it off what a blast. and to save you asking about the secret powder place its 2 hours north of McCall

yes its nice once you get your sled dialed in, makes me think I should take my 3071 off the 09 1000 and put on the 13 800 but that's too much work, surprised you found soft untracked snow at McCall you did good
