Can't edit an old post

I had a post about a year ago that I put some really huge pictures in that I want to edit. It resized the whole thread and is annoying to read. I just renewed my membership, it was lapsed for half a day. Is there any reason this would block me from my own posts?

The 'edit' button just doesn't appear on it.

The lapse doesn't affect your editing ability.

There is a code key turned on that doesn't allow editing of posts after a certain length of time. Post here or PM me the thread link and I can help you.

I figured out a different way to do it. I was hosting the photos so I just replaced them.

Thanks for getting back to me though!

Just for future reference, what's the length of time, before they get locked?
