what is everyone running for clutch weights? I was leaning towards heavy hitters or the 11 series. I think we all need bigger heal weight.

Just for comparison. Here are pictures after 60+ miles yesterday. Boondocker turbo Pro running 8100-8250 rpm. 74.2 gram Lightning weights. Geared 19-42. Boondocking, ravine bashing, and hillclimbing yesterday in Cooke. No road racing. Played Daisy, Miller, Sheep, and Wolverine Pass. Bumper deep snow most places. Clutch did not shift all the way out.
Thanks MH, I ride a 800 Pro at sea level and I think I should be able to get away with a 19/45t combo and have a good shift out. But I was looking at a gearing chart in a IQ manual and there isn't a combination for a 19/45/Pitch chain set up. Does this mean it can't or should not be used? And would this apply to the Pro? I see where "adrenaline addix" and "TG" have or are using this combo but was curious why this combination wasn't on the gearing chart.

How about in the Pro, would you find any problem with a 19-45 or would you do the same 20-45? Also would you use the same pitch chain as the 19-46 (74 pitch) in a 19-45 or 20-45 for the Pro? I'd have these Pitch chain questions answered if I had at the gearing chart for the Pro but I don't have a service manual for it but I have one for the IQ. So I don't know if theres a difference in center to center distance for the jack and drive shafts on these two sleds and if a different pitch would be needed.

Is anyone running 20/46 with any luck? I was going through the archive and found someone saying the combo didn't fit good with the 74 link too tight and the 76 link was too loose.
I have ran the 20-46 with a new chain in my personal sled. If you are concerned about the fitment, break in your new chain and the 46t with a 19t top gear and then switch it out for the 20t. After running the 19 you may not want to switch.

In the third post it shows you how to determine a chain length if you want to change to a different gear. You just have to know what the center to center distance is between the jack shaft and drive shaft.
Edit: You also need to know the distance between the pins on the chain.

Thanks! 46 and 74 chain on order!
Another reason why I dig the standard RMK more than the PRO Right now... Choices (at least ones that cost less than $500 (wink)

the 9105 is a 163 2.5 track

Plenty room Eric. It has .151" clearance all the way around. No issues to date. Have one out with the 19-46 and over 3100 miles. Replaced the chain once and motor twice. I stand corrected, Joe now has 4147 miles on the 19-46 in his 2011.
