Rocky Mountain Snow MX 720-263-7533

Thursday we got the chance to ride the 2020 Yeti. We can't wait to get one on the Red Ranger!!!!

The three of us test riders all felt that it had more flotation, put down 20% more power to the snow, and was 20% more nimble than the same size 2019 Yeti. It was hard to believe the the Ferrari of snow bikes could get this much better.

We rode a 137 that handled like the 129SS we love.

I can't say what they have done at this time. Be patient because the product release will come in March. The MY2020 is in this picture below.

2020 Snow Check will begin in March also. Get your deposits ready and give us a call. We will drop ship your snow check freight free to most states in the US.

Hopefully you are right, regardless this just put the death knife into 2019 Yeti sales and I pity any dealers sitting on 17 and 18 kits.

Yep, as if the yeti values were doing owners any favors anyway. Single rail will be sick! Hopefully upgradable components since Im sitting on several yetis!

There's an a** for every seat or kit in this situation. They will discount previous years kits and they will sell.

I'm interested in checking this new kit out as well. How are the 2019 kits holding up? I was nervous looking at yeti as my first kit with some of the small issues with the kit and buying parts. Are they getting better for warranty and issues? I bought a snowtech kit and couldn't be happier. I've tagged stumps and rocks and the kit looks brand new. Jaron builds a quality kit for sure.

I've been following Yeti prices pretty closely over the last few months. You can still buy brand new 2016 kits but dealers are still wanting $6500 Cdn for them which IMO is a non starter. As expected they aren't selling, neither are the 17 kits. Between reliability and recalls etc I think guys like myself are holding out until they get it perfected. When I drop $10k on a kit it had better be reliable and have the features I want. They are going to have to slash the prices quite a bit more than they have in order to get rid of the older kits. They just get staler by the day, new kit sales for this season are pretty much done so all those kits will a model year older next fall. Timbersled is the same way.

My way of thinking is if I'm spending 7-8k for a year old kit I might as well just drop the 10 and snow check what I want. Hopefully Yeti makes the kit I want this year otherwise I will just whip the new Camso for another season.

I see 2017 kits, very good condition and very well equipped for $4500 and less. 2017 was the best year to date for reliability.

At todays posted exchange rate $4500 USD is $5991 Cdn plus fees. I haven't seen very many 2017 kits listed in the 6k range most are closer to $7k but aren't sellling. From watching CL and Kijiji prices are better in the US for sure but once we import into Canada we get nailed with another 5% tax even on used kits. The math isn't there for me to buy a used or new non current kit to save a couple of grand if the new one is that much better. Come resale time you get your money return on the back end.

Toby,
Is there an exact date in March when Yeti will reveal?

No one will say until it is officially revealed...hence my question as to when that will be.

2020 Yeti spy photos released!!!!

Fat Boy Slim in the house!!!!!

12.5” wide track on narrow 5.5” rail spacing. This gives you the flotation of a wide 12.5” and the nimbleness of a narrow 10.5”. The 137MT handles like a 129SS. This is a huge benefit to the rider. The redesign of the drive system frees up 20% more power to the snow.

The 2020 will also come with a pre-bled master cylinder included with the system.

Call us to book your snow check. We ship all over the world.

The efficiency is gained in the way the track comes off the top of the drivers, flat to the rear idlers, and the new introvert / extrovert drivers. Along with being able to run a looser track tension and the 5.5" rail spacing being more efficient.

The 20% is measured by my calibrated butt dyno.

20% is a truly conservative number. I was riding my 2018 YZ450F with exhaust and intake with a 2019 Yeti 137 with my RMS MX setup. The demo bike was a bone stock FE501 2020 Yeti 137 with full emissions, stock air filter with a prefilter in 1' of blower fresh pow. It felt like there was an anchor tied to the back of my Yamaha compared to the demo 2020. It was amazing.
