Changing m-10 location down&back postives/negative help!!!

hey guys recently scored a 141 and 136 m-10 off ebay currently have a 121 only mod being fox shocks and a set of ti springs I got off here a few years ago, looking to hit the powder a bit, ive heard of a few m-10 equipped s2000 guys setting the skid back to help approach angle cause this things a snow plow thus far, im either thinking running a 144 track with the 141 skid or 137 track with the 136 skid. does setting it back in the tunnel effect the geometry too much and cause problems, is setting it back 3 inches for 144 to much and 1 inch for 137 okay this is a crossover sled not full blown trail or mountain so I would like to retain the excellent characteristics it already has. thanks Tony.
