Youtube vid size and BB codes

if you used BBcodes to implement the youtube tag for embedding. can you change the size?
also, what about Vimeo? its an easy add i bet..

most folks post HD vids these days.. 640x385 or somethin like that..

watching HD vids at the 400w is old fashioned..

i'm not sure what software the board runs on?

but as an example for Vimeo BBcodes

this vimeo code would work to where all a user would need to do is post the fulll VIMEO url.. you can change the resolutions to whatever you want actually.. protip: the 640x385 is a great HD rez for the webs

usage:
[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/{IDENTIFIER}[/vimeo]

replacement:
<iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/{IDENTIFIER}" width="400" height="225" frameborder="0"></iframe><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/{IDENTIFIER}">

i see.. so then if thats already setup with the 640x385 then video's should be showing at that rez when people embed them.. using the youtube tags here..

posting vid to check.. my kid xmas day.. now has a broken arm from rolling the thing a few days later.. damn 4 wheeler! haha

cool. i looked around in other threads and all the embeds are now at 640x385

so what happens now.. is people that posted there old video's shot with crappy old cams. well there vids will be bigger on screen now but not high res... but for all the folks with there fancy gopros and contour HDs and whom shoot in HD will see the bigger more clearer embed and it now becomes that much more appealing..

adding the vimeo is similar i bet, just a little different..

Vimeo is a little different i'm sure..

i googled BBcode and Vimeo and that was how i worked in Vimeo codes..

this is of course for different forum software.. but may be a close representation to getting vimeo working here.

usage:
[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/{IDENTIFIER}[/vimeo]
