I'm looking at 2000 - 2003. Was wondering what are the biggest differences between a summit and a MXZ? Need to know cuz I'm looking at a 136 track and both seem very similar. :beer;
ZX (MXZ) vs ZX-X (Summit) chassis..
Summit had wider running boards.
Summit had a setback (and d/r??).
Different riser setup.
SC10-2 (coupled) on the MXZ..
Longest MXZ was a 136...were there any summits w/ a 136? maybe in 2000...
Wider front end.
And there are differences through out those years..I think ZXX chassis showed up in 02?
ZXX chassis would make a better mountain sled for sure.. Unless you mod the ZX chassis sled.
I had a modded 02 MXZ Renegade, that was turned into a Summit..
Some of my beefs w/ the stock MXZ:
*wide front end
*coupled rear suspension
*narrow running boards
*block style riser (instead of the pivot style)
*trenching (the setback definately makes a big difference)
*short track...
