P90 Secondary Button Part Sub.

Hello,

I'm replacing the buttons on a P90 secondary out of a '96 Indy Lite.

The dealer supplied the 5450873 buttons which are the sub for the older 5430766 buttons.

As per the attached pictures, the 5450873 have a considerably different profile & would appear to add to the spring tension once installed.

Just wanted to confirm if these buttons are OK to run in the P90 & curious as to the reason for the change in design?

Yeah, they'll be fine. The overall height appears to be the same and the new ones will most likely wear longer because of the different profile which has a larger contact area.

I'll run them. I wondered if the reason for the change was to add more meat for longevity.
