2016 800 axys 1800 miles....I had a hi idle condition that occurred out of the blue, did it all day and didn't effect anything else, thought it was icing cable due to deep snow conditions....end of the day...died and is siezed.....anyone ever heard of this or experienced it?

Usually high idle means an air leak (lean condition)
That was your sign to look for one before seizing it up............

Crank seal?
Delaminated reed boot?
Throttle body popped out?

well hearing this makes me nervous. my sled has a 1900-2000 rpm idle with tps set correctly, and low peak rpm issues, around 8000 rpms w/ 60 weights. it's been at the dealer for over a month now and they can't figure it out... double checked everything under the sun... motor mounts, new injectors, new throttle bodies, tps set a dozen times, ex valves adjusted. i wonder if i don't have something deeper goin on as well.

100 years ago when I worked on small engines we’d spray carb cleaner at spots that we thought might be air leaks. You could hear the engine trying to run on the carb cleaner if you hit an air leak.

So could this be caused by poor quality bearings....heard alot of horror stories on Polaris bearings lately...

Will be following this thread with interest.
