I have a 280 162 3p camso on my 16 axys. Has anybody trimmed the back supports of so that it packs the snow a little more rather than trenches? Or has anyone tried in backwards yet? I have roughly 400 to 500 miles on it. This track moves a lot of snow and trenches a lot!

Thanks.
Justin

I have the 155 3.5 pitch track. I trimmed the back supports on the center half of the lugs. I think it helped some but I didn’t cut the outer supports for sidehill bite. On another note I have 12-1300 miles on mine and some of the lugs are cracking at the base of lug on front side near the outer edges of track.

I was thinking about starting in about a quarter of the lug width inward and cutting the column down lower as i get closer to the middle.

I trimmed the inner half of the lugs and did them top to bottom. I didn’t gut them out, but took maybe 1/4” of rubber off back side total on each. I used a utility knife with new blade and took a little at a time.
