So what all did everyone get for the updates on their 17? Took it in yesterday and was just the actual recall stuff pipe sensor retainer, throttle body screws and some wire rerouting.

Same here. They recommend not going to the shorter gear with the 165. When I asked about the various clutch applications that I would be paying for he said that the 17 setup is still the best. He said he called the various other dealers in the area egos customers Would Be riding at similar altitudes and they all purportedly agreed. I had already cut the whole on the clutch cover and removed all the insulation. So what all did everyone get for the updates on their 17? I blew a belt at 750 miles. Not bad necessarily but never blew one on my 14 and those belts had 1500 to 2000 miles on them. Bought the supposed new and improved and will put on when I blow the one on there currently.I tore the foam and crap out day 1. Didn't blow a belt but I open the panels whenever I stop, I meant to get actual temp but always forgot my temp gun in the truck. Really never smelled the belt on my t3. This one I did on the deep days.
2017 850 165 3", finally got my sled back from the dealership after 2 months and here's the list:
Coolant Bottle Breakage
Pipe Sensor Locking Tab
Throttle Body Body Sync
Drive belt durability (Gearing)
Fuel level off (FUEL LEVEL SENSOR)
My dealer told me the 165's don't, and shouldn't, do the gear change like the 154's. I want to try mine with the changes they did make and will be hopping on a 18 165 to see if I can feel a difference. I did ride an 18 154 today and it scooted. So you got the gearing with a 165. And they tell me 165's don't get it. Interesting.

My buddy just bought a 17 holdover and was curious if he should change his clickers before going on first ride. Anyone have to move theirs from the initial factory setting? We ride at Snowy Range, 9000-12000 ft.
