Installing a 162 skid and track on 2002 summit HMK

I am putting a 162 track on my 2002 summit HMK. I purchased rails from a 2006 1000 162. The rail are 64" Long. I am know at the point of mounting the skid. I am not able to line up the front mount. Does anybody have any suggestion to get this in. It is like my rails are to long.

They are too long... The 2002 and 2003 zx summits had a skid set back done to them... Because of this you always need to use a size shorter rail if getting rails from a pre 2002 summit of a rev chassis. Example for your application what you need is rev 159 rails... I did the exact same mod you did and that's what I used rails designed for a 2007 summit x 159

Cool this will work out good. A buddy bought rails 159 to do a 162 mod to his rev and they are to short. So i will just trade him. Thanks that is wicked.
