Yep, I believe the first battery less was 97.
I think he means no it will not run without a good battery.

Put a new battery in it or it won't even pop. Then disconnect the terminals or put a trickle charger on it over summer.

ok now it runs like a top but the battery light stays on . it is an older battery but took a charge . so my question now is is my ststor bad or is the battery bad or is it not charging ? how do i check to see if its charging ? thanx

isn;t there a fuse in the charging circuit..??..your battery light will be on if that fuse is blown..

Found the problem a .wire was disconnected from the back of the fuse panel All is good now For your help everybody
