I have a set of the raptor kinetic series on my 850, very happy with the shocks except the rear shock spring has to much sag. Has anyone put a different rear spring on the raptor shock ?

I think you can get a standard or heavy triple rate spring for the rear (at least that was an option when I had my Assault). Do you already have the heavy spring?

I had both springs for my old axys, the sag is not much different between standard and heavy spring.

Mine took about 6 weeks, they are suck good shock the ride zone on the front end is sooo much better over the old raptors. Thay are soft and smooth but dont bottom out. And the rear shock rebound is good for cheating on deep days, loosen it up so it bounces back fast and it pulls the ass end out of the snow a few inches and gets the track speed up a bit. I just don't like the rear spring.

Man I feel like my buddy's sled sits just as high or maybe higher than mine and he has kinetics. I'll text him and tell him to chime in.

Does it not have a threaded preload collar to adjust it more to your liking, or does it have the multi-position quick adjust ramps and you're out of adjustment?

I got an email this afternoon. My shocks are on their way. When i get a chance to install them and get a ride ill report back. Im pretty excited to get them dialed in. My friend and I have identical 850s. It will be a great comparison to swap back and forth with a stock sled.

Mine do not sag either, I do have mine a bit tighter as I am 265 with out gear and I like my skis down more on steep pulls. In love with my shocks!

I just tightened the spring up alot to 8.5 " and it's now how I like it, and the ride is still awesome.

That is true, it looks like I have a single rate spring now.

Made the mistake of ordering the WE's on my 850. Should have known better. Back to raptors ASAP.
