Well all you die hard triple fans, After two months of fabricating and positioning we just finished my XCR 800 Dragon. It can be done and wow what a machine. I have about 150 miles on it so far and were getting it dialed in pretty good. I have been riding a custom built gen 2 sled for 11 years with this motor and there is no way I would go to a twin after having my triple. I have big ol crank shop pipes underneath and they all fit under my stock dragon hood. Im putting this on here so everyone that was wondering "I WISH " now knows it will work. If anyone wants pics let me know.

My dad has always loved his 800 xcr tripple, but he had to sell it when I was about 10-12 because we couldn't ride double on it as easily so he sold it and bought a 2000 600 touring. Now that he has ridden the new IQ chassis, he wants that tripple back. I told him we should find a 800 motor and fab one but he bought a 2006 fst classic. His dream is to have an IQ with a 136-144 (1.328 or 1.5 in rip-saw or cobra in the 1.328) My question is how hard was it to build the mounts? could you possibly send me a pic at bradsankey@live.com of your mounts/fab work and overall sled? Thanks alot, Brad Sankey.
